Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) – A Great Place to Learn

IIMs are the leading centers of management learning in India. The New IIMs in India is highly reputed worldwide for their teaching methods, managerial abilities repository and study work on management and associated localities. These B-schools will eventually make managers who can handle roles in different sectors with ease.

There are seven IIMs located in the towns of Ahmadabad, Lucknow, Bangalore, Kozhikode, Indore, Kolkata and Shillong., which are established names. IIMs are completely autonomous organizations which invite no interference from the Government or other central or state agency. Each IIM is administered by a Board of Governors.

 

The new law of IIMs of India

Recently the government has planned a Council of Institutes going by the Union HRD minister. The council, that will organize the performance of all IIMs, will suggest scholarships for several backward castes and categories and present other purpose utility to it by the Centre. It will also submit a report to the government on every IIM after a short review, and suggests actions that the government would take. The proposed regulation also creates a prescribed scheme of reviewing the ability of the organization and the school. The New IIMs in India will no longer be registered societies, but become national organizations with the administration to accolade qualifications, not just diplomas.

Student Caring

A five-member managing group comprising controllers of IIM Calcutta, Bangalore, Kozhikode, Udaipur and Tiruchirappalli are discussing the topic of empowering the organizations to grant degrees and enacting a latest regulation. The proposed new law will rule the IIMs the way the Indian organizations with expertise are run by the organizations of expertise Act, 1961. The preliminary account does not adjust the powers and purposes of the board of governors and directors, or the kind of their appointment.

 

Some professionals say the IIMs have much more autonomous than the IITs and the two organizations have very distinct requirements and need distinct approaches. The new Indian organizations of administration (IIMs) are revolving out innovative business programs and address desires of the larger communities. The new IIMs in India at Ranchi, Raipur, Rohtak, Trichy and Udaipur are creating exclusive forms that bank on the reputation of already famed IIMs.

  • Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management (RGIIM-S), Shillong:

Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management (RGIIM-S), Shillong is one of the New IIMs in India, has been set up with a dream of expanding and mobilization of amenities for proving top quality management learning and study in the North to the east district of India. The decision of coming up with an Indian organization of Management in the North East was unanimously taken by the amalgamation Minister of Human Resource Development along with the Chief Ministers of the North to the east States in the reconsider Meeting held at Shillong during June 2004.

 

  • Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak (IIM-R), Rohtak

 

Indian Institute of administration, Rohtak was established in 2010. IIM Rohtak aspires at a fast growth in its PGP programme. It’s designed to start a new program in the next few years. It has plans to augment to the dimensions of globally respected schools of enterprise at the fastest pace. It has taken several plans inside the short time since its inception. In the first year itself, it began its Post-Graduate Program (PGP) batch with 50 scholars. In the second year of its reality (2011-12), it’s aimed at a batch dimension of 120, a size which other organizations have taken much longer time to come to.

  • Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi

Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi was established in 2010. It has been set up to assist the increasing demand for quality managers in the corporate world, while striving for excellence and working in the direction of its core value of inclusive development for the larger good. IIM Ranchi boasts a two year mail Graduate Program in Management as its flagship program and designs to launch study work in the beside future. The course summarize has been meticulously structured by IIM Calcutta, and is being consigned by their world-renowned school.

The events are designed to impart high value administration education and conceive spectacular managers who will assist the humanity with potency and zest. They are striving to convey a global viewpoint to all its program and activities in a fast altering international economic environment.

  • Indian Institute of Management (IIMT), Tiruchirapalli

Indian Institute of Management (IIMT), Tiruchirapalli was founded in 2011. It was opened by the honorable Minister for HRD and Telecommunication, Shri Kapil Sibal, underneath the patronage of the Government of India and the stewardship of IIM-B. IIM is one of the names that has regularly become synonymous with excellence and has established a benchmark for unwavering quality.
